RZ70 - RFC call failed: Error when opening RFC

Hi folks,

I am configuring my SAP WEB as ABAP to send data to the SLD system.

When I configure the RZ70 e run it, the following error appers for the RFC SLD_NU:

RFC call failed: Error when opening RFC

I have already tried to remove the SLD RFCs, removed the data from RZ70 and configured again and no one those steps worked.

Have anyone faced that issue?

Thanks,

Ma

    Hello,

What error are you getting when you manually test RFC SLD_NUC?

Please make sure that you put right gateway on which SLD service is running in RZ70.

    Thanks,

    Sunny

    Hi,

Which SLD System you want to send the ABAP system data. Solman or PI? As mentioned above please check if you are putting correct details for hostname and gateway in RZ70.

    Thanks,

    Hi ,

To trigger data from RZ70, RFC destination has to maintain in sm59. with the error which you posting the RFC destination might be "RFC SLD_NU". Go to sm 59 and check the RFC destination is sucessfull or not.

if not working post the error here.

    Regards,

    Manigandan.

    Hi Marillia,

1333483 - Timeout during allocate of a registered program

    "
This happens when the program is registered on the gateway and is
currently being used by a process. Another process attempts to access
the registered program but cannot because it is already in use. The
system waits a certain period of time (which is dictated by the
parameter gw/reg_timeout in transaction RZ11) and after this specified
time period if it still cannot access the registered gateway program it
terminates with the "timeout during allocate of a registered program"
    error."

The reported issue seems to be the one described in SAP Note 1388694.

You could try to set the following parameters in the

instance profile and restart the instance:

    gw/keepalive = 0                 and

    gw/reg_keepalive = 0

    Or else

You would see two files reginfo and secinfo under /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<nn>/data in your SLD systems. Remove theose files and try to push your SLD data

    Regards,

    Himanshu

      Hi guys,

the issue was solved. there were some connections stuck on SMGW .

I cancelled them and the RFC started to work.

      thank you so much!
