How to configure default position in OM?

Say I want to execute PA40 to deactivate an account, then while setting the default position, my client wants it to be "33333333".

Change the entires in T528B,

S 99999999 Default position  to 33333333

can you please elaborate on what data to be entered in the fields?

I need to configure the position that appears in pa20/pa30 to default so that instead of 99999..., default is 33333....

Although Siva Prasad has given the "solution" to your question, there is no need to change SAP's default configuration. The default position functionality is one of the main components of SAP HCM and is built in to the code in some places. I found couple of instances where SAP has hard coded 99999999 in standard programs to drive logic.

Please advice your client accordingly.

Add to above point, you  might have an issue with authorization as well.

Suppose if an employee is retired and if you dont have 99999999 as default position there are chances that reporting can be an issue as well.

Please consider reporting issues as well , because structural authorization might not pick other fancy numbers................

Selecting the view then how to proceed? do we need to maintain the view from sm30/se11?

please can you elaborate the steps to configure the switch.
