E-Rec - Mail verification link for external candidate not working

Dear All,

We are implementing E-Rec(NW 7.0 E hp.2 ) and ECC 6.0 (E hp.6) .

As per the e-rec procedure, in case external candidate apply for a job in portal , first thing is to candidate registration.

After registering with username and password , one e-mail verification link mail will go the particular candidate's mail id.

Now , there are two scenarios:

1. Before applying SSL, External candidate registration and mail verification was happening correctly through LAN.

2. After applying SSL, External candidate registration is happening but mail verification is not happening through public IP ( Outside of LAN ).

a. When we are verifying through public IP , One message is coming - ' Server not found ' .

b. When we are verifying through LAN for the same case ( No. 2 ) , SAP log on page is coming .

So, as per the scenario, is it necessary to change the URL of the mail verification link ? if yes, then how and where to change and fix this.

Please kindly help in this regard and tell if any additional information is require.
