XML Form item only to edit by owner?

Does anybody know how to restrict permission to a XML Form item so that the creater (owner) is the only one who can change the item? For example a publisher of a new item can only change his own news items.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Eric

    Hi Eric,

you can achieve this by creating a repository service that would change the permissions on the newly created XML forms so that only the owner and (maybe some admin group) has FULL CONTROL and everyone only READ.

This implementation is explained by Patrick O'Neill in his thread:

    repository-service-auto-change-resource-permission

    Hope this helps,

    Robert
