DP - Alerts

Hi all,

In my selection i have excluded one particular SBU and in the Planning job, when i select the SBU at the aggregation level, ( which is only way i could get get alert excluding one of the SBU) - the job just runs for a long time.

When i dont select the SBU in the aggregation level and run , the planning job gets completed. But my alerts are wrong.

So i created another selction Including only the SBU which i excluded earlier and i ran for a few materials and it does not take much time, but when i run the all , the job just keeps running.

Any idea on how to solve this?

Regards,

Rorie

Hi Rorie, if you do not set excule the SBU, and run the job with all settings the same, what would be the result?

Analysis with ST12 tool will help here I think.

HI Ada,

I tried that. The problem is that when i include SBU in the aggregation level, the job just takes a very long time.

But have solved this by adding some additional steps in the process chains by Zeriong out a keyfigure and adding some macros.

Thanks.

Hi!

It is incorrect to not select SBU in aggregation level and use SBU as selection criteria. Am not surprised that the alert results are wrong.

To avoid higher run time you can make use of parallel processing profile while creating the background job. Or else run different variants of the job either in parallel or series.
