KEDR Derivation rule is not working.

Hi Gurus,

My requirement is : From third party system revenue is posting with object of common profit center. now i have mapped to PSG in okb9 for all GL accounts as i have activated recently COPA.

So, for all revenue related GL accounts i have created clear function derivation to clear Profit center. it is required to me as i need to do TDD for profit centers.

But it is not working. when i am posting by assigning profit center. it is not clearing in COPA document. what is reason i dont understand.

In my ides system, it is working fine when we give only one gl account and posting to one gl account in fb50. if we give multiple gl accounts in clear function and posting in FB50 for one of the gl account, here also it is not clearing.

in developing testing client it is not working both ways.

Please give your light on this.

Hi Guru's,

can we maintain multiple entries in KEDR clear rule. as i need to clear profit center in copa document for 400 GL accounts.

When ever we post to one GL account with that profit center in fi/sd, it should clear that profit center in our copa document. but if we maintain several cost elements in one KEDR clear rule, it is not clearing one any profit center in our COPA document.

OR for this requirement do we need to create 400 entries (clear derivation rules). then it is working fine. but this is not suitable solution i hope.

Or is there any exit available to clear clear profit center in our COPA document, if we post to any gl account starting 6*.

Please advice in this regard.

Hi...

After you execute t-code KEDR, you click “test tool bar” button and input characteristic in test screen and click derivation button and find error cause using analyze derivation button.
