Upgradation of CRM 4.0

Hi,

We have SAP CRM4.0 ABAP Stack, SAP_BASIS 620 Level 41.

We would like to upgrade to WAS 640.

What are the steps to be followed?

Hi Suparna,

It is possible to run CRM 4.0 on a WAS 6.40, gives you more functionality around java basket and BP to name a view.

However as I am not a Netweaver consultant I suggest you contact your local SAP office for guidelines.

Hi Suparna,

I've not found an official Upgrade Guide from WebAS 6.20 to 6.40 for CRM. I would wait for the official release of CRM 5.0 wich will also include WebAS 6.40. What are your special needs for 6.40?
