Fail to Archive PO by ME98

Former Member

My target is to archive a PO.

T-code ME98 is used.

The "Preproc" is passed without any error message.

In the "Write" action, there is a log message saying "No data corresponding to selection found".

I have set both residence time 1 & 2  to 1 ( by SPRO > MM> Purchasing>  PO> Define Tolerance Limit for Archiving )

The PO date is of last year and is not modified since then. The PO has already been completed.

In the variant, the PO number, Purch. Organization is entered.

What would be the possible reason that the intended PO is not archived/selected?

Thanks in advance.

I think you have run 'preproc' in test mode, please check all the entries have deletion flag in me23n or check in table ekko-loekz.

If you dont find any deletion flag for the entries then run the 'Preproc' in production mode.

Thanks for the advice.

Update

The Production mode of Preproc has been run

line item in PO has been marked deleted ( trash can)

The production mode of "write" has been run

The Delete Indicator of the PO and the lien item of PO is marked "L" ( checked through se16n,EKKO,EKPO)

The "No data corresponding to selection found" does not appear.

But the current result stated that no object is written

  • """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
  • Summary
  • Archiving Session Number 0000xx
  • Number of Written Data Objects 0
  • Size of Archiving Session in MB 0.000
  • Proportion of Header Data in %  0.0
  • Log(Summary)
  • """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

In "Delete" function, no archive selection is shown.

Please advice.

UPDATE,

All previous archiving is done through SE98

Program RM06EW47 has been tried and the action  "write" succeeded .

The delete action succeeded also. The PO is finally archived.

if you display the PO with ME23N, do all items have a deletion flag (trash can)?
