Team,

Some times we are blocking finished goods due to some issues which we need to rework after some days.. in this case, currently we are blocking this finished goods which are not considering in MRP and ATP.. As we are not considering in MRP system is creating planned orders which is difficult to manage ..

To solve this, we are planning to create a new storage location which will be considered in MRP but not for ATP..how to configure this? is it possible to create a storage location which is to be considered in MRP and to exclude in ATP

thanks to help.

Hi Vijesh,

You can follow P Puri suggestion by including blocked stock in MRP.

But sometimes, this can create other complication since Blocked Stock can be a "ready to be scrap" stock which should not be considered in MRP.

For your scenario, which is Rework scenario, another solution is to create rework planned order / rework production order immediately after you blocked the stock. In this case, MRP will see that there is a rework production order coming in and will not suggest another planned order.

Hengky
