How to block the users in canceling of documents in journal entry module

Hi Experts,

How can I block some of our user in the cancelling of documents in the journal entry module?

This is what i did in Administration > System Initialization > Authorizations > General Authorization and in the authorization form i set the cancel document to no authorization

but still the user can cancel a document in journal entry.

Dear Eric,

Yes you have two options, one you have already tried it should work please check use authorizations once again.

Second solution is that you can add this restriction in SBO_SP_TransactionNotification by writing the SQL code when the object type is 30 i.e. Journal Entry and @transaction_type is 'C' that is Cancel.
