Am new to SAP PPM required your support to clear my doubts, i
My question is, we have configured an item type with 3 item status . Status are created, approved and closed.. for all the 3 item status in status group we have maintained created--- not specified, approved---not specified and for closed---closed. As per my understanding Based on this config any portfolio item once it is closed should be visible in inactive dashboard. Which is not happening.
I required your help to understand am I missing some config here or do I need to do any custom developments here.
We are using PPM5.0.

Do I understand correctly that you have already assigned your status "closed" to status group "closed"? if yes, then normally this should be sufficient for items with this item type and status to appear in the "inactive items" dashboard. The standard (hardcoded) behaviour is for items with any statuses which are associated with status groups "0500 Cancelled" and "0700 Closed" in the customizing to appear in the "inactive items" dashboard (you can see these status group internal keys/IDs in database table /RPM/ITEM_STATUS).
I would recommend that you check the aforementioned customizing and double check the master data to ensure that the affected items really have the relevant item type and status. If the issue persists afterwards, it should be looked at in more depth. In this case I suggest that you place a customer incident with SAP Support.
