Hi Experts,
I am getting the error "Could not create user TMSADM_WF with exception 6" while setting up TMS Workflow on DEV(000).
We have removed it from CUA and tried but no luck, the last option i tried by creating the user TMSADM_WF manually and saved the settings of WF,
In this case RFC TMSWF@WORKFLOW_ENGINE generated automatically but autherization test is not working and could not able to modify this RFC to update the password of user TMSADM_WF which we have created manully.
Please help me to setup the TMS Work Flow. Screen shots attached for your reference.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Suresh Babu
Hi all,
Here is my solution. it works to me.
1. create TMSADM_WF (user tpye: system) manually in workflow system and use your own password.
2. create proposal workflow system in STMS workflow engine tab
3. change TMSADM_WF password in RFC TMSWF@WORKFLOW_ENGINE
(note 2017125: put TOGL in tcode filed at SM59 page of TMSWF@WORKFLOW_ENGINE)

Hi,
One of the common reason is authorizations. Since you are trying to perform workflow configuration from 000 client so either use DDIC or user having same authorization.
If still getting issue then you can follow method mentioned by Rishi and reset the user settings by using method mentioned in following link.

Hi,
Check the following SAP Notes:

Please check the version dependency of the above mentioned Notes...
Check the missing auth to profile S_A.TMSADM and then try again.

Hi,
You tied to run SWU3 and see if then RFC TMSWF@WORKFLOW_ENGINE gets fixed. Once all is green then try ans see if it works.
Hope that your user id has full access. when you do the change in domain controller.

Hi Rishi, Thanks you for your reply.
I have checked SWU3 they are already in green and we have SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW profiles to the user which we are using to setup WF.
The note 503459 this is not applicable to our release(EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0)
I hope you understand the exact issue, while setting up WF "The TMSADM_WF user creation aborts with a RC=6".
For this issue SAP suggested as below, but i didn't understand which is blocking creating of this TMSADM_WF user.
SAP Suggestion:
-------------------------------
I'm logged on to DEV and tried to reconfigure the TMS workflow for
client 200, but there some strange things happens where I do not have
an idea why this happens.
The TMSADM_WF user creation aborts with a RC=6 from the RFC interface.
It seems that there is no password delivered to the interface or the
password will not be accepted. Is it possible that you have a password
blacklist or something like that and is it possible to switch that off
during the workflow setup?
I found also that the TMSADM rfc destinations making problems. There-
fore I have re-generated all of them, but the TMS configuration
distribution prompts me in QAS and PRD for authentication which isn't
needed because of the stored password in the RFC destination.
If I make an authoriation test of the TMSADM@DEV... RFC destination in
SM59, it answers with everything ok, which is an indicator that the
TMSADM authorization in client 000 are to much. In this constellation
the TMS behavior is changing in a uncontrolled way.
So would you please double check the password settings and remove any
blacklist and remove all extra authorization for TMSADM in client 000
of all three systems?
--------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
Tried to configure workflow and as My System solution manager is the domain controller so it got configured . I think this might be an issue with higher patch releases as sap might have changed security policy for user. In the current case the issue pop up should come and we should have an option to use the default password .
So what i did created the user by copying TMSADM and gave him authorization
S_A.TMSADM
S_A.TMSWF
and then ran the configuration in STMS domain controller.
When i check the connection it run fine.
I know that user is only in the RFC but password will not come this way..
Thanks
