Hello

During execution of IDOCs we encountered error.

I.e. in

transaction sm58 there are some LUWs which can not be executed(IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS      BORCLNT300                       05.11.2013 08:53:50 Function module executed                           0A8B629438DF52789EB23350)

(we get error

message :"This LUW cannot be executed either now or once

again

SR016

Diagnosis

You cannot execute the specified LUW. Either it has

already been

executed and an error occurred in the target system, or the call has to

be executed together with update records. You can perform

post-updates

after update terminations with Transaction SM13.

")

Do

you have an idea what can be done

Hi Jan,

the LUW is in EXECUTED state which is the last status before deleting the LUW from the qOut tables on the client side. Please read the note #378903

This answer by SAP is unfortunately not satisfactory. The mentioned SAP note talks about qRFC, here we are talking about tRFC. I believe that tRFC is managed by the qRFC scheduler as well, but still the description in the note is not fully applicable here and only gives the hint that such a transaction is executed and reached the target system if the EXECUTED status stays for more than 30 minutes (I don't think 30 minutes is a hard factor but could also be expressed as "after safe waiting time of 30 minutes or similar").

So long story short: it's by no means explained how to further analyze the reason why a transaction stays in this status in SM58, for example after successfully sending an IDoc to PI/PO where no errors occurred. After researching for days, I've opened a SAP support message now to get further explanation.

Hi,

Diagnosis

You cannot execute the specified LUW. Either it has

already been

executed and an error occurred in the target system, or the call has to

be executed together with update records. You can perform

post-updates

after update terminations with Transaction SM13.

First of all you should check how many idoc are generated and received in BD87. The no should be same and if all were green.

Please also check that if any update was running in SM13 there is any termination .

Is this failing always or once in bluemoon.

If always you need to check certain settings in we21.we20 and activate the scheduler in SMQS and check if background user has correct authorizations.

Thanks
