Contract Migration

We are trying to do Migration of Legacy Contract to CLM . And one of the requirement is to have multiple Contract Document in ine Master Agreement. How can i have multiple Contract Document in the same Master Agreement during Migration . How should i enter the File name of multiple Contract Document .

Hello Vinay,

Repeating UNIQUE_DOC_NAME of the previous row (or row of MA created), just change FILE_NAME and next fields (related to the contract document).

Just pay attention, because when you repeat the value filled on FILE_NAME and the UNIQUE_DOC_NAME are the same in both row, you will add a new version of contract document.

Thank you  Adilson for the Answer. i tried as you suggested . But it created two Master agreement .

I had two identical rows with same UNIQUE_DOC_NAME and all the other values just changed the file name and relate file name values . But it still created two different master agreement . Please let me know what i am doing wrongly. You help is highly appreciated

Hi Viany,

Have you checked # GENERATE_DOCUMENT_ID field. It should be false and then Unique_Doc_name should be maintained same for both the lines.

# GENERATE_DOCUMENT_ID-Determines if unique document name need to be automatically generated by system. If value is TRUE then system will generate unique document name automatically otherwise it is required to specify unique doc name value in CSV file in field UNIQUE_DOC_NAME
