Scoping issue

Hi there, Being as a key user, I can change the scoping in production system. But I cannot change the scoping in testing system. I would not like to change the scoping in production system and ask for a new testing system for testing purpose. Is it possible to change the scoping directly in testing system? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Dear Tim,

When you request a test system from a First Implementation project (Productive system), then the test system is called Initial Implementation test system. This test system is copy of the Productive system with the scoping changes that you have performed.

It is not possible to Edit the Project scope in the Implementation Projects view instead please follow the below workaround to Edit the Project Scope:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.

2. Select Implementation Projects view.

3. Select the “First Implementation” link.

4. Here, you can find the “Edit Project Scope” button using which you can edit the Scoping in the Test system.

Note: The scoping changes that you perform in the test system cannot be merged with the Productive system.

Thanks Sathya. Follow your instruction, I found a way to change the scope in testing system. We would like to have more testing after scope change in testing system. If everything is ok, we will change the scope in production system and ask for a new testing system for testing.
