I am having problems activating an Interval hierarchy for 0Material on the Q/A environment. It times out. For a temporary solution we have increased the time period from 1 hour to 4 hours to see if it will activate in the time. In the Development environment if activates in minutes. The Dev contains 600,000 records and Q/A 900,000 records.
We are having problems with loads from the R/3 Q/A source system. However, I do not see that having an impact since the activation should not have to hit the source just align with the 0Material. Is this correct and are there any possible tests solutions that anyone maybe aware of. Thanks
Hi,
I asume hardware on QA is equivalent to DEV ?
Check if database stats are current on QA.
If DB is ORA check PSAPTEMP IO performance. This is heavily utilized with change runs. Are there in QA large aggregates present which are probably empty in DEV (they need adjustment with change run an this is time consuming).
Kind regards, Patrick Rieken
