    Hi Mohammad,

IQ is a DBMS designed primarily for Datawarehousing & analytics (OLAP) and should be seen as a complementary database to ASE which is designed more for transactional processing (OLTP).

ASE , IQ , SCC together with HANA and other SAP Database & Technology products are part of the SAP Real Time Data Platform and as such are being integrated and optimized to work together as a platform capable of supporting SAP applications as well as 3rd-party applications and custom applications.

IQ can for example be used on its own as a DWH DB, or in solutions with other databases such as ASE or HANA. It can also be integrated as a Near Line Store for BW (IQ 15.4 ESD#3 and later).

There are also some good guides & tutorials on the IQ Developer Center that might be of interest here.

    Hope this helps
    Kind regards,
