Hello Experts,
We are implementing GRC AC 10 and present support package level is 13 and we have an issue with Time Zone our component systems (Backend Systems) running in two time zones (EAST and WEST) but we are running one GRC Server against two time zones. When a firefighter login controller notified by email and when FF logout controller is not getting notified and FF Log notification not sent to GRC inbox.
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks,
Gopal
Hi Colleen,
Thank you very much for your reply and the solution you suggested!!! Right now we agreed on a Mountain Time Zone (MST) GRC and West systems are MST Time Zone and EAST systems are central time zone and client mentioned that they can’t change Central time zone for the EAST systems.
Do you have any advices for this issue?
Regards,
Gopal

Hi Colleen,
I really appreciate your prompt response on those questions and the response is really useful.
I have opened a message to SAP for time zone issue as soon as they get back to me I will update that.
I have another issue, when the FF login and run few transactions and in the meantime if Firefighter Log Synch job ran, FF user is still active and run few more transactions after synch job run then logoff, when a controller receive that logout (new work item) notification and check inbox FF log is partial and some transactions (what ff user execute transactions after synch job) are missing in the log report
Thanks,
Gopal
Hi Gopal
Have a search of SCN and Marketplace. I recall coming across FF Log discussion but cannot remember where
However, I suspect you will need to work with SAP on how to manage systems with different time zones
Can you please post a summary to the community when you get a response as it would not surprise me if other members come across time zone issues.
Cheers
Colleen
Hi Gopal
I was under the impression time zones must be the same in the GRC and satellite system for the STAD collection. Also, match with OS timezone as well.
Example note:
1582473 - Numerous issue in SPM due to time zones not in sync
If you have systems for different timezone you may need to agree on a central timezone for the system and then update SU01 accounts to local timezone.
Regards
Colleen
