Hi,
I have setup Access Levels to setup authorisations for Web Intelligence.
The user is able to create reports and save them to their favourites and a public folder. However, if the user tries to press "modify" on the public folder the data button is not accessible but it is via the favourites. I am missing something on the access level.
Does anyone have any ideas what? I have assigned everything from Web Intelligence and Universe.
Cheers,
Does the user have correct access to the public folder. To fix this issue just go to the folder in CMC >add the user/group > Assign the Role as Content develper
Or you can just assign advance rights for Webi in that folder. Please see the screenshot showing which webi rights are needed for data access in the folder

Hi,
Thanks for your responses.
The problem was that i hadnt assigned the authorisations under Content -> Web Inteligence. I had done it for Application -> Web Intelligence. Didnt realised it was listed twice!
Thanksm

You could have denied some rights at Root folder level. Have you tried to get aggregated list of rights assigned to your object of interest. Security could help here. check here
