can not find service com.sap.portal.ivs.connectorservice in the Portal

hi

I wanna use portal ABAP Connector in my portalet.I fail in connecting to R/3.

I browse the System Administration System Configuration Service Configuration. I can't find the service com.sap.portal.ivs.connectorservice. I think that is why i fail to connect to R/3.

How can i redelpoy that services? Can anyone give me some advices?

Thanks

    Hi Elliot,

under this service configuration, only services which have properties to be configured are listed. All others exist, but are not listed (for they don't need a restart for there is nothing to change at runtime).

On the other hand, this service is listed on our SPS14 implemantation. Properties to be set are "DQE JDBC log level" and "DQE JDBC log path". I don't know if these settings have been configurable always in the past.

    Hope it helps

    • Hi Elliot,

as said, if this service is not listed, it does not meand that it don't exist. The other possibilty would be that it exists, maybe running, but it didn't have properties to be set.

Have a look at the corresponding portalapp.xml to check this, you've that got at hand!

      Hope it helps
