In addition to topics mentioned above, you should also understand:

1. SNP master data objects and their respective sources in ECC.

Product Master, Location Master, PPM, PDS, Resource, Transportation lane, Quota arrangement are important SNP master data elements

2. Safety stock planning

According to me SNP heuristics is good enough for basic SNP understanding. SNP capacity leveling, Optimizer, CTM, Deployment & TLB are advanced topics.

Basicly you should go through SAP material SCM230.

You'll need to understand:

- SNP planning area and SNP planning book configuration

- SNP heuristic and SNP capacity leveling

- SNP optimizer

- CTM

- Deployment and TLB
