ZXTRKU02 not working in Z function module

My clone of IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY calls this user exit but the program nevers finds it. I verified this with break-points.

I have a Cmod for the function group (ZV56K001) which calls the V56K0001 enhancement and both components are active for the project.

Any ideas or suggestions?

My notes are old on this, but give this a try. Enter your shipment number in VT02N, select go to output, enter your output method, select Further data, select "Send with periodically scheduled job", save and exit.

Then go to the WE15 transaction, enter your output information and hit execute.

the reason is probably that there is some special "magic" with the CMOD user exits that gets lost when copying the standard code. I would guess that somewhere behind the scenes in the CMOD framework, customer-function call will be ignored unless it is located in SAP standard code.

--> Just another of the many problems involved with copy-paste-development.

    Regards, Rüdiger

    Hi Janet,

ZXTRKU02 is part of fm EXIT_SAPLV56K_002.

    You can try the following:

Call transaction CMOD and call menu option Goto -> Search. Then press Shift + F9 to get all selections. Fill the enhancement component with EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 and press F8.

Now you will get a list of enhancement projects where the exit is used. If you get no project, then you have to add enhancement V56K0001 to a customer enhancement project and activate it.

But normally you should have an active enhancement project (for example project V56K0001). Deactivate and then reactivate it on the CMOD start screen.

Maybe this will solve your issue.

      Hi Klaus,

I tried all your suggestions and still couldn't get this user exit to execute the Z function module.

I determined that the special logic in ZIDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY could be moved to the ZXTRKU01 and 02 exits.

Thank you for your very helpful ideas....This is the first time I have used Developer posting and it was a postive experience.
