Hierarchies Not Created in BW for Dimensions

Hello

We have an issue in our Development environment for all of our Dimensions.  Hierarchies can be created in BPC but are not being generated in BW follwoing 'save and process'.  We discovered the issue when trying to view hierachies in member selection and getting the message " no member description available".

We did not have this issue in our Sandbox environment, but now seeing it for all BPC Environments in our Development installation.  Even ENVIRONMENTSHELL dimensions like TIME appear to have hierarchies in BPC structure ( eg PARENTH1 ), but the hierachies in BW are not created.

Any assistance appreciated.

Thank you for responses.  We are currently investigating issue with SAP and I will update with resolution.

We have discovered that the issue with inability to maintain hierarchies for BPC /CPMB/ objects is also in other BW objects.  For example, we have manually maintained a hierarchy for a 0BW object, saved and activated, then the hierarchy is not available.

Roxanne, have you checked ST22, SM21 and SLG1 for any errors?

We have executed UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE and no success.

The hierarchies can be seen in BPC dimension member and structure.  In corresponding IO in BW, the hierarchies via "maintain hierachies" are no visible.  They entries are in the hierarchy SID tables but there is a diconnection somewhere that is preventing us from using the hierarchies in BPC reporting.  This issue is in all environments, all dimensions.

We have logged message with SAP to assist.

Are you able to view the hierarchy in BPC dimension ?  If yes, then goto corresponding IO in BW, double click and click on Hierarchy tab. You should be able to view the hierarchy there.

Did you execute program  UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE to refresh dimension cache.
