Default Setting for infoprovider

Hello,

Is there a table where we can set the default setting for new infoprovider / DSO?

I would like to set all new object to cache mode 5 and check the option 'Use Selection of Structure Elements'.

As sidhharth said, there is a simple t-code : RSDIPROP  where you can set it directly. You need not to go to any table.

But Use Structure of Elements can be set in RSRT-->properties for all your queries individually.

Just to add to it..You can set these properties both at info provider level and the query level. You can have multiple queries over an infoprovider. So when you set a property at info provider level, all the queries on top of it will inherit these properties; which again you can over ride at individual query level.

So for Info provider level we have RSDIPROP and for query level we have RSRT.

I already made the change for all my DSO/infoprovider with the t-code RSDIPROP.

But i want that my new DSO/Provider come with the right setting.

When my BW system was in 7.01, the case mode setting was 1.

Now in BW 7.3, the cache mode is 5.

So, there must be a place to change the default setting.

Actually read mode 1 or 5 are adviced to use. If in 7.3, it comes with read mode 5. it is good. You need not to change the default settings.

In fact 5 is better than 1. The place what you are looking for is RSDIPROP only.

I think there is no table as such, SAP provides its own default values. However for individual providers you can reset the values in RSDIPROP T-code
