Limit Authorization of ID to View Specific Transaction Types

Hi, All.

I am not familiar with the authorization concept here in Solution Manager. Is there a way where I can limit the authorization of user IDs so those IDs can only view certain transaction types?

Hi Sherwin,

Do you want to know how the authorization is set for a particular user role ?

It is better first to know what authorization is set to the transaction and once if your Authorization object is known then follow below steps

If the role exists for that user then open that user in SU01 and then double click specific role ( which you wanted ) . Then click on Authorization tab . Then select "Change Authorization Data". Here you need to  identify your authorization object and set Authorization type. ( 03 - Display ).

By doing like this that user will be made only to view the transaction.
