How to create a pfcg role with a default screen flavor and launch via URL only?

How can a specific flavor be launched in a browser by an employee just using the direct URL link?

Requirement

An employee is provided the direct URL to the personas flavor screen to be able to create a maintenance request.

Background

An employee with a valid sap userID is assigned a PFCG role which contains the flavor. The employee is also assigned roles to be able to create a maintenance notification using IW21.

The flavor is assigned to transaction IW21: details below.

The role is maintained as follows:

Problem:

When the userID uses the URL link, the sap logon screen is presented, user logs in, then is presented with the IW21 sap web UI screen, not the flavor.

At first glance your configuration seems to be correct and should apply the flavor to IW21 when the user logs on.

If your system is fully up-to-date and this still doesn't work, I'd suggest creating an incident so the support team can look at the situation.
