Chained transaction aborted

Dear Gurus,

I need your help and suggestion for the activity which we are performing.We have installed the netweaver 7.4 EP which is successfully done .I have tried taken the database and transaction backup but while i'm restoring the transaction log it gets completed but while loading it it gives me the output roll forward chained transaction was aborted and then shows completed .I understand that there are 2 transaction modes in sybase chained and unchained mode and we do have option to turn off/on.Please can you advice if the output which i'm getting will it make any difference from the point of getting data restored properly and is the option to turn on chained mode is advisable.
