Field is greyed out after the warning message apperas in adobe form

Hi Experts,

I have added a warning comment in my adobe form- that is triggered when the date difference is more than a designated duration. However, once the warning message is issued, the date field becomes greyed out, i.e., is in display mode alone in portal.

Please suggest.
