XI Integration building problem

Hi all,

I am trying to set up a remote access from my laptop to access the XI server through VPN :

all Tcodes are working fine, expect the Integration Builder,

1) i thought it was b'se of JAVA webstart and i made sure i dont have any other previous versions installed,

2) made sure the current version 0f 1.4.2-09 is running

3) made sure Java web start preferences are set to NONE

4) when i started IB , it says IB starting and goes to the default web browser although the URL points to

http://xit-blade:50000/rep/start/index.jsp

5) also as far as i know , there are not any firewalls active too.

Can anyone help mi out with what the issue might be?

Thanks

    Hi A Harika,

I am not sure but check whether you have set path variables in your laptop for JRE 1.4.2-09

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks.

    Rekha.

Very simple. In your hosts file enter the IP address and system name of XI server.

    C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

open the file in a notepad.

lets say your XI server IP address is 62.1.32.12 and the name is xit-blade, add the following entry

    62.1.32.12 xit-blade

    regards

    Shravan
