Hierarchies

I have a hierarchy which is part of the 0Material InfoObject. The hierarchy is populated using intervals.

When I try to activate the hierarchy I get a time out. This is because there is problems with the Q/A environment, an RSA3 test extract gives a short dump due to memory issues. Is there anyway that I can schedule the activation. For example can I carry this out as part of a Process Chain or otherwise. Thanks

    Hi Harpal,

The "Apply Hierarchy/Attribute Change" process does the activation of the hierarchies. You can use that process type in your process chain. You also need to check the setting in the infopackage not to activate the hierarchies automatically once they are loaded.

    Hi Harpal,

You do it either way depending on your needs. You can also set a wait time in the process chain to schedule the activation at a later time.

    Hope this helps.
