How to find out whether a customer is of person or company type?

Hi,

I am wondering if there is any table(s) that contains information whether a customer is of person or company type.

I would appreciate if anyone can help point me out.

Thank you in advance,

Sunny

You can get it in ADRC-TITLE. ( Get KAN1-ADRNR and then hit ADRC) .

0001 - Ms

0002 - Mr.

0003 - Company.

So 0003 means company , others are individual.

Sanjay,

Thank you for your answer. But since the TITLE is not required so ther can be a number of customer without any TITLE. I am wondering if there is a better way to identify whether a customer is a person or company.

Ok another field is ADRC-PERS_ADDR.

If "X" person. If " " company.

Cheers.

I am not sure but have you checked KNVP-PERNR when initial is a company or not?

Sanjay,

I think it is confusing because I can see that the title field is Mr. but the PERS_ADDR is "".

But I trust you might be right.

Thanks a lot,

Hi Sunny,

Title can be anything of the three values even if its a company address so ignore TITLE and rely on PERS_ADDR only.

If problem solved , can you close this thread and reward points if answers were helpful.

Cheers.

When entering customer information, I don't think there's anywhere to enter that information, so I doubt if you can find a reliable way to determine this.
