Hi All,
Could you please suggest, which auth. object and value is required to make appear 'Service for Object' icon.
It is appearing for 1 user , and not appearing for other user, in the same system/client.

Hi,
is the user which doesn't see the icon an service user?
Julius sayed it: The Services for Object button seems to be only for DIALOG Users. Please check
So just allow me the question: Why did SAP implemented that? Is there a way to activate this button for service users too?

If the user violates the license agreement, then the icon disappears. GOS is classed for professional dialog type users.

Julius

Hi,
there is always a way by enhancing/modifying standard logic. In this case I guess it would be against license agreement between customer and SAP. BTW the logic mentioned by Julius is described in note 1586989.

That could create a nice mess if you then subsequently tried to implement rfc/reject_expired_password...
