Parameters issue

Hi Guys,

I've created a report and inserted multiple sub-reports into it.

The reports are fine but when i import it to SAP B1, it appears to have multiple Docnum

How can i remove the others and just leave it with 1 instead of having multiple selection?

I can't seem to remove the DocNum inside those sub-reports.

Giving me error saying that need to remove all the values first.

Hi Adrian,

Looks like you haven't 'Linked' the Main Report's prompt/field to the Subreports' prompts.

Right-click each Subreport and select Change Subreport Links > Move the prompt or field that you wish to link to the Subreport's prompt to the pane on the right > At the bottom left where it says 'Subreport Parameter field to use' choose the prompt in the Subreport.

Once you link all the prompts, you should only be prompted once.

If DocNum parameter is not required to filter data in the sub report then it can be removed by commenting/deleting the record selection formula ( Reports > Selection Formulas > Record) OR physically deleting the parameter field from the report if it is placed on any of the sections.

If DocNum is required to filter data in the sub report then the main report parameters can be linked to sub report parameter in the right click menu of the sub report > Change sub report links option.
