Default storage location in MIGO 103 movement.

Hi,

Users are creating MIGO with MVMT 103.As per their requirement I am preparing Z program to automate 105 movement.In order to validate data which is available in input file need to check Block stock (by movement 103).

In MARD table I can see block stock for material /plant/storage location.In document by which 103 movement is created storage location is not entered,In personal setting Storage Location is not maintained,In PO also storage location is not maintained.

My query is when Storage Location is not available in PO,MIGO display ( with 103 MVMT) how block stock is showing in one storage location in table MARD.

I think you are mixing blocked stock (which is a quality status) with GR blocked stock which is more ownship related than quality related.

GR block stock is just virtual stock at plant level, which is calculated from a purchase order history table EKBE, thats the reason why 103 movement does not have a storage location, and hence it cannot update MARD.

MARD table does not show GR blocked stock, it only has real blocked stock,

Hi,

  If you are posting 103 against any PO for any material, the stock wont update in ANY fields in MARD table, because MARD is updated with storage location only.  You may test the scenario in quality system.

  The blocked stock showing in MARD could be due to some other movements. You may check the material movements using MB51 transaction, with material number and storage location.

This movement happens before block the material.

Please see the movement date and also check when material is blocked.
