BEx Analyzer - Displaying Free Characteristic in Rows?

I'm working with a query that is an RRI receiver from another query, with the RRI passing a characteristic filter value from the first query to the second. As required, the receiver characteristic is set as a free characteristic in the receiver query.

The requirements dictate that this characteristic be displayed in the rows by default - is there any way to display a F.C. in the rows when a query/template is executed? I'm working with using a BW URL command like:

that would run automatically with the template is executed, but I'm not doing something right.

Any ideas?

    Hi Scott,

Welcome to the SDN! When doign an RRI, it is required that the filtered char be present in the second query (target) and it can be either in the free chars or the rows. So would it do for you to change the query so that this char is in the rows to start off with and not in the free chars?
