Importing CSV to create MA problem.

Hello Experts,

I am trying to create a MA from a flat file. It is a *.CSV file.

When i upload the csv with the Master Agreement Category under Setup>Import the load fail and it says

" Value for business system is missing. Enter a business system."

The problem is that i did write the fill in the CSV file the Business system. Before i upload the file i check preview and the business system is included.

anyways the load is failing.

Any idea what could be.'?

Hello Sebastian,

Start checking two points:

• GO TO Setup >  System Setup > Integration > Business System

     To fill the CSV, use values filled on External ID collunm.

• If you are trying to import integrated data (like materials, vendors, etc from SAP ECC) you have to use EXTERNAL ID of your Integrated System.

Thank you very mucho for the answer.

The porblem was because i was trying to do a MA from a flat file with the Local Business System when the MA type was integrated. Also the problem i gues was because i was using Local Master Data for that documento not integrated.

Hi Sebastian,

First of all, you should not use Import Data to import MA. You have to import them using the

Setup -> Document Setup -> Contract Data and Document Importer

You can find the template (csv file) for both MA and Sub Agreement in this and can use it to create MA.
