Dear Users,
I have a rwquirement to be achieved by creating report in Inventory management.
The thing is To calculate moving STOCK quantity from the key date to last six months * 2. and the data stock Movements should only consider Shipments and Consumptions moving type on production orders.
Moving quantity is not the Total stock quantity.
It seems Moving quantity = Goods Issued + Goods Receipt. Is this correct? I don't know how to calculate Moving quantity.
Does this mean that Goods Issued and Good receipt are two fields in SAP system??
Regards
Syed
Hi,
Check your report with following t.codes.
1. MB5B
2. S_P00_07000139
3. KSB1
4. MCRE

it depends from which table you take the numbers, if you take it directly from the movements in MSEG then you will only have 1 quantity field
if you take it from statistic infostructures e.g. S031, then you can find quantities aggregated in different fields for receipt and issues.
a goods receipt is usually not a consumption.
some receipts are consumed directly, e.g. when you order with account assignment K , but this has never increased the stock and is not consumed from stock, hence it does not need to be considered for stock coverage report.
the standard transaction on coverage in SAP is MC.C
the calculation is explained in SAP Library - Stock Coverage

Hi,
Since you mentioned Shipments and Consumptions - it seems Goods receipts are not considered as moving. Moving is only consist of Goods movements since last 6 months either shipments or issues (consumption).
The report need to be consider only for Production order, check with MB51 report by selection appropriate Movement types which eligible to be considered as per your logic.
As per your scenario, moving stock = stock issues (either shipment or consumptions for production orders), I believe.

Hi,
Generally all the movement types mentioned in this thread https://scn.sap.com/message/6751302 are considered to calculate consumption (which ever applicable).
Other than these, if any special movement types created newly to fulfill business activities also treated as consumption movements. Please check if any exists.
