1817221 - Error Message always occurs while uploading SPL XML file

Hello Experts, .

While uploading Sanctioned Party Lists from XML file via transaction '/SAPSLL/SPL_UL01', an error message with short text 'No list type is assigned to the SPL entity' always appears even if all SPL list types in this XML file are defined correctly in GTS. The SAP NOTE 1817221 - correct this issue.

The note suggest that the support package 15 takes care of it.

900

SAPK-90015INSAPSLL

Our GTS system is at  - SLL-LEG 900 0016 SAPK-90016INSAPSLL SLL-LEG 900 : Add-On Installation Patch level -

And still we get the error message.. Any help on this ?  This is mainly a basis issue - however, any of you can throw some light, that would be great.

Thanks.

Jay

Hi Jay B,

It's not my strong subject area, but looking at Note 1817221 appears to show that the error can occur if any of the following are missing:

  • SPL List Type - (you've confirmed ok)
  • Legal Regulation
  • SPL Provider ID
  • SPL Data Reference ID

Does that give you any clues?

Hello Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

Recently there has been a change in the header format of the SPL file. This is the reason for the error message- No List Type is assigned to SPL entity.

.However there is no issue with the upload of the SPL entries and this message can be ignored. However, applying SAP Note 1817221 takes care of this message

We had older system 8.0 and our logs were showing errors - however the records were uploaded correctly.

I have rechecked the Production system logs after the upgrade and with SLL-LEG 900 0016 SAPK-90016INSAPSLL SLL-LEG 900 - the errors have stopped appearing.

This issue is resolved. Thanks for your reply Dave.
