Hi Nour,

Your issue can be resolved in following way:

Please proceed the following steps -

1. If you have ever create user name SAP* in SU01, there would be an entry

for SAP* exist in table USR02, in this case, you need to firstly delete it.

If your database is SQL server, use below command.

(If other database, ask your database admin to delete the entry from database level.)

Use user <sid>adm, start the "Query Analyzer", enter database SID,

with window authentication, Enter the following command and execute it:

   DELETE FROM USR02 WHERE MANDT='<client>' AND BNAME='SAP*'

   Exit the  "Query Analyzer"

2. Make sure that parameter 'login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0' within

your DEFAULT.PFL. Set the parameter in the file and restart the SAP system from the MMC.

3. login to client 000 with sap*  and password "PASS"

4.  Recreate SAP* user within SU01 and set a new initial password

5.  Unlock DDIC and set a new password

See relevant Note 68048, 2383, 4326.

68048 Deactivating the automatic SAP* user

2383 Documentation: description of "super user" SAP*

4326 No user with super user authorizations  (released internal)

If you have any query, feel free to let me know.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,

Sunny

Hello

If you have an issue with license and cant login to the system then the only way to login is with user SAP*.

DDIC or any other user id will not work except SAP*. If  this is a new installation then SAP* password will be same as master password which you provided during install.

If you still cant login to SAP* then you will have to delete SAP* from the database level which will reset the password to default.

This is a pretty standard process when system copies / refreshes are performed.
