Changing Order of Data Columns

Hi All,

Please can some one urgently tell me how to change the order of data columns in the BPS layout. I have defined 2 key figures one for cost and the other for sales.

I currently have data columns generated dynamically as below:

Cost02 Cost03 Sales 02 Sales 03

I need to achieve the following layout for data columns with minimal customisation.

Cost02 Sales 02 Cost03 Sales 03

Is there any function or technique i can apply to get the layout described above.

Many Thanks

Salman Akram

I think that the only way to do this is not to use dinamyc column but use fixed cost column with variable Year -1, sales year -1, cost with year, sales with year.

    Regards.

      Salman,

In case of dynamic data columns, you won't be having control on individual column.

so, I doubt if your requirement can be achieved.

But, you still can achieve it using SAPAFTERDATEPUT & SAPBEFOREDATAGET macros.

though it's not recommended (only if no other option), but, we went live with these 2 macros.

We've a need that our business users need to plan around 50 columns using dynamic data columns & that they want to have these 50 columns be fit on the screen without using scroll bars.

it was made at the cost of "rows" & they are fine with any number of rows.

Bottom line is that you can achieve your requirement with SAP macros.

so, I advise you to get the comfort level of your users with macros & start looking into this unless some one in the forum has a better answer.

      hope it helps.

    Hi Salman

In BPS0 transaction, select your planning area, then your planning level and the package. Here, into package level you have the layout, then select modify it, and into second step of wizard you can find the column order.

I hope that can be useful for you

    Regards.
