cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response stopped working

I am using

cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response to open up a PDF that was created from smartform output. This was working great until 2 days ago and I have changed nothing.

I am passing a filename, xstring and mime type 'application/pdf'. The filename and xstring both have data.

This is usually what would display in IE.

Now nothing happens but a blank screen.

Please share any of your ideas for what I could check. Thanks

I no longer have the issue, but I also am unsure how it was resolved.

I was debugging the problem and then suddenly the problem was gone.

I am facing the same problem. Several weeks ago the method cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response offered the button bar for opening or saving the pdf. Now I just get a blank Screen.

Please let me know if you still have this problem or if you have found a solution.
