Hi Friends,

One employee from our client side raised an incident that in his team one person already left in the year 2011 & ran PA40 (Acions) for him. Now the issue is the person is still showing in the organization strucure. I checked his position id in IT0001. It is showing as his original position id & not default id like 99999999. Can you please advise me on this as soon as possible? As per my understanding that we should not delimit the position because it is permanent. We can only delimit the person & the relation ship between person & position....Is it right?

Thanks In advance.

Regards,

Sreekanth

Hi Sreekanth

Yes , what you said was right.

You shouldn't delimit Position. The position is permanent and cannot  be delimited, If Position is vacant.

The person will be delimited and a new person will be assigned to same position.

If person is still showing in Organizational Structure. Check back end configuration of Termination Action again .

Check operations used for personnel actions.

Yes right should not delimit the position, but you can delimit the Holder (a 008) of the position for do not appearing in structure.

Hi,

When termination action is being executed, it should stop everything i.e delimiting all the records and emloyment status will be 'Withdrawn' (0). So, i believe the termination action is correctly configured in T529A.

Now, the integration should be there when employee gets terminated PLOGI PRELI  wikll default the

Position based on T77S0 table.

Since 2011 no other employee has been terminated? If erminated, what happened to that employee? Has the position defaulted to 99999999?

May its something with the position, when employee gets terminated, the position becomes vacant. So, you can run the vacancy report for positions

S_AHR_61016509 - Vacant Positions

S_AHR_61016503  -Staff Assignments

Check the action and position for any inconsistency.

Thanks,

Madhav.
