Reg.Inactive material

Hi all,

I made an material as inactive by assiging the cross plant material status as - Inactive. The key is an Z customized key which has all parameters as B which stands for Issue Error Message. I assigned this key in Sales view under distribution chain Matl status also.

This would restrcit me in transactions right. But doing all this i am able to create condition records for that material. Normally system should restrict me in creating the condition records.Is this the behavior?

Can you guys tell me how can i completely make that material inactive meaning i should not use that material in any transactions.

Hi,

You can flag that material for deletion in MM06 for plant and sales org level. I hope that will work for you.

Hi,

  In OMS4 - create a new material status as inactive  and maintain B for all the data and assign the Material status isn Basic data 1 view

or alternatively you can set the deltinon indiactor in MM06 for that material
