SAP CRM Master data distribution

Hi All,

I want to generate an outbound IDOC for BP master data from one SAP CRM system to another, can someone help me with the steps to follow,,

Note: I know this is achieved commonly by BDOCs, though we would like to get it done via Idocs,  if possible !!.

Hi Sudeep

Yes this is possible via IDocs.

You'll need to create a Logical System entry for the system where you want to send the BP Master Data for Bdoc BUPA_MAIN. This done via Transaction SALE

In Transaction SM59 you'll then create an RFC Connection (Type 'T'), use the same name as for the Logical System created in the previous step. Under Technical Settings check "Registered Server Program" and give the Program ID value the same name as the Logical System Entry.

Under "Settings for Idoc Processing" choose "Define Port", create a Transaction RFC and select the option to choose you own name, Define the name as you Logical System Name. Choose the RFC Destination Name as the one create in the previous step.

In Transaction WE20 create a new Partner Profile Type 'LS', give it a name. Add the Message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M. Set Receiver Port as the Port Name defined above, choose Transfer Idoc immediately and set Idoc Type as CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M01

Create Site Settings in transaction SMOEAC

In Transaction CRMXIF_C1, set-up an Entry for the Site you've created, with Bdoc Type BUPA_MAIN and interface Name CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE, set both checkboxes.

That should about cover everything.
