ESS users not able to delete the leave request before apporval

Hi

ESS user not able to delete the leave request before apporval is given from the leave overview in ESS .

the leave status :SENT

Error :You are not a receiver of the workitem.

but a MSS user can delete the leave request before approval .

Kinldy let me know if there is some configuration missing or we need to change the workflow .

In spro 'NO deletion of leave permitted' is not checked .
