Custome Access Level for License Keys

Hello,

I was able defined custom access level for almost all the link in CMC except few.

E.g License Keys, Auditing, Settings etc. I could not do it by normal means.

Is it really possible to do it or they are only visible as Admin account.

Please let me know if anybody has any idea.

Those are only visible for Admin account as they are completely administration tasks..

For reference from Admin guide Page 556

• For improved system security, only users who have both membership in the Administrators group

and have CMC tab access granted should be able to access the following CMC tabs: Auditing,

Authentications, Cryptographic Keys, License Keys, Monitoring, Sessions, Settings, and User

Attribute Management.

Is it possible to have an custom account where I can give selected admin access to the account. I know that I can copy the admin account but then I cannot use the delegated adminstration on this account restrict access to CMC.

My requirement is that a user should only be access to some admin activity and not all CMC.

Please advice.

unfortunately there is no partial admin access you can give to a user for access to license key and other listed above. They have to be part of Admin group so those who have all Admin privilege can only use them..

     You are correct.  It is NOT currently possible to set custom Access Level Rights to only manage License.  You can create custom level Administrator but License MUST be managed by Full BI Admin.
