XI Support Pack 14 is now available for download.

As of Support Package 14, XI Alerting no longer depends on end-to-end monitoring.

This has following consequences:

1. The activation of the end-to-end monitoring is no longer an absolute prerequisite in order to use XI Alerting.

2. The time interval between the occurrence of an error in the message processing and the creation of the Alert now considerably smaller.

3. It is no longer necessary to schedule the report SXMSALERT_PROCESS_DATA_GET as a background job.

4. If you want to display active alerts in the CCMS (see Note 824039), schedule the report SXMSALERT_ACTIVE_ALERTS with your preferred period.

Hi,

I am not able to apply conditions to switch step, as I am not getting popup. I think I am getting this only after applying SP14 patch. Anybody knows why is this happen. Could anybody solve this problem?

Currently we are facing problems in Alert Configuration ,End-to- End monitoring and Alert Inbox on SP14. When we try to open any of these links , it is asking for provide login credintials and after giving login credintials , its showing login failed , reasons could be showing like this "Check for SSO ticket" in RWB.

and when i try to open configuration link..its shows like SSO is not poosible?

we put SP14 on last two months back..still these issues are not resolved..if any body have idea .how to resolve, please let me know?

otherwise upto that no problems in SP14, but i'm not sure all the things properly working or nor..becuase directly i'm working on SP14 with out prior knowledge on remaining SPs.

We have installed sp14 inour system .I am finding it very stable and some very good features.It is working perfectly without any issue till now.

I like the "Adapter-Specific Message Properties in the Message Header" most:)

and bapi commits too

but we're still waiting for T-rex to search the xml messages payload... I thought it will come with sp14

Did one of you guys already patch your systems to SP14? Is it working or is it as bad as SP13 was? We had so many errors at the beginning that it reminded me of the SPs during the ramp up phase...

SP13 is almost like a new quality to us...

we had so few issues with sp13 that we

started to think what was going on:)

Hello Christine,

just installed SP 14 last weekend, and hoping that the message-mapping tool will be useful. (In SP13 they have forgotten the copy/paste functionality)

In SP14 it is there again, but if you copy some mappings with constant, you will be surprised. For example if you have some nested if-then-else, and you copy the branch,where you check the condition if a source field equals a constant-value, an you the change the constant-value in the copy of the branch, then you can see, that the value of the original constant is also changed.

Sometimes i'm wondering of the quality of the qa of sap...

We put SP14 last evening and I'm finding issues with graphical mapping editor. I'm working on extensive mapping rules with several conditions with earlier version, a click would disconnect 2 functions / target field. Now, click does not disconnect(right click delete works but is tedious), and worse, deleting target field and reintroducing target field deletes entire map!!! I have to add new conditions to an already complicated map and I'm not sure how to work this.

What is happening? Is there a fix to this. Looks like the mapping editor has been rewritten for new features and some earlier eatures are not working.
