Hi All,
The CTM input and output log can be viewed through /sapapo/opt11 display log file. Is there any other way we can get only the input and out log in nice format as like optimizer log ?
Pl help me to find a way out.
Thanks in advance.
BR
Thamizh
Hi Thamizh, you can try to set "CTM Log File Contents" to "Input and Output Data" in CTM profile -> Settings -> Technical Settings. Then you can check the log file either by push "Display log file" button in /sapapo/opt11 or download the log file. In the log file, the input data and output data should be formatted for easier look.
It seems the input data file is for optimizer engine usage with an unformatted way.
Also notice that the above setting I mentioned will affect the CTM performance to a certain extend, So please always only use it for test purpose with low amount of data, and do not use it in production.

Hi Thamizh, As i said, it is not possible to get formatted input data file, but the input data could also be included in the log file, where you can see them formatted, using the way (setting "Input and Output Data") I provided in my previous reply.
Below is what I saw in log file for input data:
Below is what I saw in log file for output data:
I think this the formatted file you need
Hi,
Check with your basis team, all optimizer logs generally are stored in a drive on the optimizer server. you can directly access this drive/folder to get the log files.
further, if you are logging input/output data (in CTM profile technical settings), please be aware that this has huge performance issues. further there is a limit on the log file size (if the log file size goes beyond a certain size, the CTM planning run gives an ABAP dump.
