Prompt Case-Sensitive

Hi Experts,

Just wanted to inquire, are prompts in Analysis for OLAP case-sensitive by deafult?

Is there a way to configure this setting?

I refer you to the Analysis OLAP Admin Guide, the chapter on "Installation and Configuration". At the end we refer to SAP Note 1498007 which lists required updates. Note 1498007 is a meta note. It lists several other notes and you should check that these have all been deployed.

One specifically relates to case-insensitive search... Note 1269398. Please check that this note has been applied.

I tested a local system, entered a prompt value in lowercase and it worked correctly. When I re-opened the prompt dialog again, the value I originally entered in lowercase was displayed in uppercase.

Hi Mark,

Selection for a Advanced Analysis is same as a query so we can't able to change it. It will be always same as Source for a your component.
