    Hi shiva

    You can remove all the other jsps which you want not to be there in the logon par.Remove the file include directives of the files you dont want in JSP. You can also include the CSS files and achieve the same by disabling the display of some tags.

    After changing the par the following steps are needed.

    To customize the logon UI,follow the following procedure:

    Make a copy of com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak and rename it. In this example, it is renamed to my.new.logon.par.

    Move my.new.logon.par to a location outside of the <SAPJ2EEngine-deployment-dir>.

    Extract the files from my.new.logon.par preserving the directory structure.

    Modify files in the extracted PAR file.

    Put the modified files back into my.new.logon.par.

    Copy my.new.logon.par back to <SAPJ2Eengine-deployment-dir>\cluster\server\services\servlet_jsp\work\jspTemp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd.

    Rename the file <SAPJ2Eengine-deployment-dir>\cluster\server\ume\authschemes.xml.bak to authschemes.xml.

    In authschemes.xml, replace all occurrences of the string "com.sap.portal.runtime.logon" with "my.new.logon" in the tags <frontendtarget> and save the file.

    Restart the portal.

    Regards

    Geogi

      Hi,

      yes, the jar files are included already

      In the portalapp.xml, the components security level was set to "No safety" by default.

      It didnt work, so i changed the <application-config> of portalapp.xml as follows

      <application>

      <application-config>

      sap.com"/>

      // this was added by me

      <property name="SecurityArea" value="NetWeaver.Portal"/>

      // end of addition

      // this was commented out by me.

      <!-- <property name="SecurityArea" value="NetWeaver.UserManagement"/> -->

      // end of comments

      <property name="ServicesReference" value="com.sap.portal.usermanagement,com.sap.portal.themes.lafservice"/>

      // this line is inserted by me

      <property name="releasable" value="true"/>

      // end of insertion

      </application-config>

      could you please let me know, what might be the possible reason.

      ***) when i click on "New from PAR" --> iView , why didnt the default com.sap.portal.logon.par file appear in the list of available templates. Answer to THIS might solve my problem.

      Please help me in this regard

      Thank you
